Sustainable Development Goal 3
- Objectives:
The goal is to achieve the Sustainable Development Goal 3 by 2030, as suggested in 2015 by all UN countries. The Indian Medical Academy of Preventive Health is taking proactive steps against addiction, and the Asian Coalition of Health Empowerment is vigorously working towards achieving the SDG3 agenda.
The mission is to sensitize key opinion leaders, government stakeholders, policymakers, and the general public, in a collaborative effort to combat the issue of tobacco harm. - It is important to examine and learn from global strategies that have been effective in developed countries, such as Heat Not Burn products and SNUS, and integrate them into the Indian context. This will help in the fight against the epidemic of tobacco harm.
This petition by several medical practitioners and healthcare providers, urging policy holders to formulate policies and allocate resources towards transforming India into an addiction-free nation. In order to achieve the SDG3 agenda, it is imperative that all stakeholders engage in constructive dialogue and collaborative efforts to echo the awareness and gather support.

6. Red plus denotes the Doctor support. Green cross denotes the No Addiction.
7. Our target is 45 degree rotation of cross to plus sign in 45 days by signing of >450 doctors.
